Doorstep Mural
"Decorative interventions" celebrate our street’s hidden decorative elements and architectural quirks. Their beauty is projected to the public through art located close to their original source.
Doorstep Mural, 56 East Park Ave, Hull
In this first realised mural of the series, the tiles of 8 East Park Ave, the artist’s former home, were scaled up to form a 6 metre doorstep overlooking the city’s largest park. Complimenting surrounding Edwardian properties, this mural is homage to East Hull, the artist’s beginnings, and home. Kindly funded by Hull City Arts.
